The credence table has the following words carved. “In loving memory of Agnes Mault who entered into rest Jan 2nd 1923. A true neighbour to all”
Our investigations show that Agnes Mault died in a house fire in January 1923.

There is also a reference to a new parish hall being built with the help of a legacy left by Agnes Mault.
