PERTH BRIDE WEARS CREAM CHIFFON.

A gown of cream chiffon was worn by Ardyn Carington, daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. R. Norman Smith, Beulah, Perth, when she married Geoffrey Linley Lawrence at St. Andrew’s Church, Perth, on Saturday.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Lawrence, Formosa, Cressy. The gown showed a softly gathered skirt, and the square necked bodice was long-waisted. The Honiton lace veil, lent by Mrs. Carington Smith, Longford, was mounted on tulle and held in place with orange -blossom. Lily-of-the-valley and frantismo were in the bouquet carried by the bride, who was given away by her father. Matron-of-honour was Mrs. Fred Grubb, whose frock of aqua crepe showed a slight train at the back of the skirt, which was finished with a bustle bow. A soft bow trimmed one side of the square neckline. Mr. R. E. Lawrence was best man, and Mr. Jack Green was usher. Rev. W. H. MacFarlane performed the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Beulah. A junior blue tailored coat, worn over a pink and blue crepe frock, was chosen by the bride for travelling. Her accessories were black. Mr. and Mrs. Geoffrey Lawrence will live at Formosa, Cressy.
