WESTBURY DEDICATION,
An impressive service was held at St. Andrew’s Church of England, Westbury, on Sunday afternoon at the dedication of the memorial endowment roll. The service was conducted by the rector (Rev. C. J. Randells) and Rev. J. W. Bethune, M.A. The dedication was made by Rev. J.W. Bethune who gave an eloquent address and explained the objects of the memorial roll. The endowment memorial roll is made of Blackwood and the carving is the work of Mrs. C. A. Payne, of Hobart, formerly Miss E. N, Field, of Westfield. The roll was presented by her to the church. The beautiful pulpit rood screen, reredos, honour roll, reading desk and font cover and several memorial tablets in the church are all the work of Mrs. Payne.
